On Enjoyment

On Enjoyment

Shifting perspectives, while sometimes disorienting at first - ultimately offers an expansive view.

I got to change up my scenery three times during March.  I headed to NY to paint with Helen Dealtry, then to Colorado for a family ski trip, then back to NY to Coleville Home where I shared my original paintings and taught a sold out painting class.

These trips reminded me the importance of returning to the basics, the restraint of not being consumed by the trivial, and the expansive experience that comes from sharing beauty in a community.

With Spring’s arrival, I want to prioritize the things that make me feel whole and good, while giving myself enough time to accomplish what is necessary.

Allow me to focus again on the simple, and let that be plenty.

Wishing you a beautiful month ahead.
