The Inspriation
This offering is a response to natural beauty, exploration, and support. Allowing myself to be led. Absorbing the grandeur of this life and then transmuting it into art.
I was enveloped in blues during time in Lake George. I studied and painted the water, drank my coffee on the edge every morning, and of course swam in it. At the end of our stay I started painting blue flowers - seemingly out of nowhere, but very much from somewhere.
This also merged with the discovery and exploration of Cyanotypes or sun prints. I was literally packing up to head home, while simultaneously managing cyanotype prints on the deck. My eyes continuously drinking the Prussian blue from all places.
This then informed a study + painting of over 50 flowers. The practice of really seeing what was in front of me, and all together formed this deck.
